Early yesterday a copy of a contract relating to a possible future for Acorn workstations was published elsewhere on the internet. Acorn Gaming was updated yesterday with a summary of some of the details of this contract. The contract was, however, apparently published only through human error and I have been asked to remove my report on its contents, so I'm afraid I can't tell you what it contained if you didn't read it for yourself yesterday - but a full, up-to-date announcement is apparently intended to be made very soon, and the contract has in any case apparently now been superseded

An updated version of the classic platform game Twin World is present on this month's Acorn User cover CD-ROM (numbered CD-ROM 4). Look in the 'Arcade' directory for an even more attractive version of this amazingly fun and endearing game which remains one of my all-time favourite Acorn games. The update adds more colourful backgrounds (only on Risc PCs) and extends some of the music
