Looks nice and has a fair amount of variety, but stunted gameplay due to the
way you continually have to stop and wait for enemies to wander away makes this
game more a chore rather than a pleasure.

Title: Magnetoids (£25)
Fun space-based 3D vector shoot-em-up which is essentially a 3D version of the
classic Asteroids (or Meteors as it was called on the BBC). The
graphics are lit in real-time, and it's nice to have a choice of
control methods (for different ships). Sound is unimaginative, however, with
loud, repetitive laser fire that soon annoys anyone in the vicinity! Addition of
features from level to level and a variety of power-ups help provide long-term
appeal. The demo works on RISC OS 2, but the game itself fails.
